When Mies Van Der Rohe said "God is in the details" perhaps he wanted to emphasise the importance of even smaller things, smaller utility, smaller function. That we should not ignore even the smaller things, smaller items, smaller details and should pay attention to it. Indeed when we see samller things closely (in details) we can find lot of opportunities to change, to make smaller improvements. These smaller improvements, smaller change finally results into breakthroughs and sometime surprises us.
God is there in every living being, however small it may be. Every living being big or small is important. Every small thing, item and details, however smaller it may be, is important. And yes! God is in the details.

Flying High

First day of the new year- bright sunny and windy. Its a beautiful morning and I could see so many kites flying outside my window. They are flying high, much above the buildings and trees, defying gravity. I wonder if they are flying for food. But no, unlike many other birds they are not flying to collect some food. But it looks like they are flying for some higher purpose. Perhaps telling us that we all must rise above !! rise above petty things and try to achieve some higher purpose in life.
